Asian Tofu Tartare

Tartare de tofu à l'asiatique

Asian Tofu Tartare

Can a tartare be vegan? My Vegan Kitchen says yes!

  • ½ avocado

For the tartare

  • ½ block of tofu (well drained and cut into very small cubes)
  • 3 tbsp vegan mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp La Morin mustard
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp Sriracha sauce
  • 1 small pickle (cut into small pieces)
  • 1 green onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 pinch of sea salt with algae from Un Océan de Saveurs (or more, to taste)
  • Tempura (to taste)

For the salad

  • a few salad leaves (in pieces)
  • ½ tomato (diced)
  • ¼ cucumber (diced)
  1. Mix together the ingredients "for the tartare".

  2. Mix together the "salad" ingredients and arrange them on a plate.

  3. Place the avocado half on the salad, and the tofu mixture on the avocado.
