Caramelized Salmon with Sea Bacon

A delicious salmon with the flavors of maple syrup and sea bacon for a perfect harmony between land and sea

Sauce

  1. In a saucepan, bring the maple syrup, water and flaked sea bacon to a boil.

  2. Cook without stirring until the mixture turns golden brown. Let stand until serving.

  3. Season the salmon with fisherman's fleur de sel and cook it in a pan with butter for 10 minutes, turning it halfway through cooking.

  4. Cut the parsnips into pieces

  5. Cook the parsnip pieces in a pan with butter until they have a soft consistency.

  6. Serve the salmon and parsnips with the sauce

  7. You can serve the whole thing with a small salad or, like us, with a delicious beetroot and ginger sauerkraut from Tapp products for an even more Gaspé recipe.
