Salade de Wakamé

Wakame Salad

Need some greens? Why not mix it up and try a seaweed salad? Zeste has something to make your salad a little funkier !

For the salad

For the dressing

  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds (toasted)
  • 2 tsp tamari sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 pinch of cayenne pepper (powder)
  1. Place the dried seaweed in a bowl, moisten to the level and leave to rehydrate for 15 minutes (they should increase tenfold in size).

  2. Drain, pressing lightly.

  3. For the dressing, mix all the other ingredients in a small bowl, then stir into the seaweed.

  4. Mix the vinaigrette with the seaweed.
