Shrimp (or lobster) and sea bacon roll

Guedille aux crevettes (ou homard) et au Bacon de mer

Shrimp (or lobster) and sea bacon roll

Fancy a little bit of Gaspésie? These seafood-flavored rolls will take you straight to the beach!

  • 4 hot dog buns
  • 1 lb fresh shrimp (or 2 peeled lobsters)
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp. of Sea Bacon Flakes from An Ocean of Flavors
  • 3 lettuce leaves (washed and cut into pieces)
  • 1 tbsp chives (chopped)
  • 1 tsp lime or lemon juice (optional)
  • 1 pinch of Espelette pepper (optional)
  • pepper and salt (to taste)
  1. Toast the bread in a pan, toaster, or oven (if you prefer, you can also use it as is, without cooking it).

  2. Mix all other ingredients.

  3. Fill the buns with the mixture.
